The Argosy Rose Bowl

The ARGOSY Rose Bowl trophy will be awarded to the best PHRF-corrected time among all the boats racing in AHMEN on August 19, 2012. The trophy, together with flags for 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded at NYC immediately following racing that day. Live entertainment and a BBQ accompany the awards.

This silver/silver-plated bowl, deeded to The National Yacht Club, was first awarded in 1968 to the winning boat of a long distance race around Duck Island and back. NYC has been challenged to select a suitable race again for 2012. They have set the 2nd AHMEN race as the distance race for this trophy.
